About Hozack

From Manufacturer to Market: Powering Progress Across the Northwest

For more than 75 years, The Hozack Company has been a trusted name in the electrical industry — connecting manufacturers, distributors, and contractors across the Northwest.

Founded in 1949 as the F.L. Guenther Company, our story began with a focus on representing quality electrical products with integrity and expertise. In 1965, Jack Hozack joined the company and later purchased it in 1970, renaming it The Jack Hozack Company. Under Jack’s leadership, the company grew throughout the 1970s and 1980s, earning a reputation for excellence and lasting partnerships.

When Scott Taylor took the helm in the late 1980s, Hozack continued its steady growth and strengthened its relationships across the region. In 2014, ownership transitioned to longtime employees Ken Spridgeon and Carol Louderback, who led the company through a decade of expansion and modernization.

Today, Evan Farris and Tug Cox continue the Hozack legacy, bringing more than 40 years of collective experience and a shared commitment to the values that have defined our company since the beginning — honesty, professionalism, and collaboration.

With a multi-faceted approach that serves both contractors and distributors, The Hozack Company provides comprehensive support at every stage — from sourcing innovative products to delivering on-site solutions. We remain dedicated to powering the electrical supply chain and growing together with our partners in all segments of the business.
